Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.

To start a return, log in to your account and request a return on your order. You can find your account here. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please ensure you read our full returns policy to see if your item is eligible.

Return Shipping

Once your return has been accepted, we will advise you of the returns shipping address. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. We recommend using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Our Heels come with a lifetime warranty on the quality of the shoes.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Shoes damaged by general wear & tear will not be refunded or replaced. If they are faulty, then we will repair, replace, or refund them at our discretion. Suede Sole Dance Shoes that are damaged from being worn outside are not eligible for a refund or replacement.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, discounted items or gift cards.

Discounted items are eligible for a store credit or exchange only.

Heels Lifetime Warranty

  • Our Lifetime Warranty is available on our heels range only (Excludes Taygra and Mens Shoes) and is intended to cover manufacturer defaults and overall quality.
  • As part of our Lifetime Warranty, we will repair, replace or refund your purchase at our discretion. 
  • Proof of purchase must be shown to be covered by the Lifetime Warranty.
  • The Lifetime Warranty does not override or alter consumer’s statutory rights, or affect our responsibility to meet statutory conditions and statutory warranties.
  • The Lifetime Warranty DOES NOT cover general wear and tear or misuse of the footwear beyond normal or intended conditions. The lifetime Warranty is void if footwear has been subjected to chemical or liquid exposure, excessive heat, cuts, or has been used for other applications or in environments that the footwear is not intended for.


Exchanges 
For exchanges, please email us at info@movemedancewear.com to request an exchange and specify the item you’d like to swap for. Once your request is approved, you’ll need to ship the original item back to us. After we receive it, we’ll send out the exchanged item. Please include your order number in your correspondence.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return (adhering to policy above). Once the returned item is received, a gift card will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return (adhering to policy above).

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If you had paid using a gift card, you will be refunded onto a new gift card.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@movemedancewear.com
